RC America Expects XRAY T2'009 In 2 Weeks

I just got off the phone with Ralph Burch at RC America, the exclusive US distributor for XRAY. He said they expect to receive the XRAY T2'009 in "about 2 weeks."


I also asked him if the Euro conversion issue had been worked out. Ralph said they decided that whatever price the T2'009 begins selling for in 2008 will be the same price in 2009. So, if you are preordering your T2'009 or buy the first one on the shelves of your local hobby shop, don't worry. What you pay will be the same cost everyone else pays later. XRAY and RC America are still deciding on the conversion rate so the T2'009 does not have a price yet.

There has been some talk on the forums that Canadian hobby shops will be receiving their T2'009 kits before the US. This isn't true. RC America will get one large shipment of XRAY's new 1/10th electric on-road touring car and it includes both kits bound for US and Canadian hobby shops. If anything, US shops may get their kits first since the kits have to travel a shorter distance.

The bottom line hasn't changed. You need to preorder your T2'009 if you want one of the first ones.
