RC XRAY Updates All XRAY Kit Prices

As we posted yesterday, XRAY increased the prices for all XRAY products in the US. We received our updated dealer price list late yesterday and updated RC XRAY last night. Dealer costs increased by $10 - $40 for XRAY RC cars. The smaller 1/18th kits were closer to $10 while the larger 1/8th scale RC cars went up by a higher amount.

We tried to keep our prices low, but in some cases we did not have any choice. The XRAY 808, T2'008 and NT1 have MAP pricing which means all XRAY dealers are required by RC America to sell these kits at the same price. When we first launched RC XRAY we had to correct our prices to meet the MAP requirement.

All of the other XRAY RC cars could be set at any price, however there were a few cases where Team XRAY increased the dealer cost for a kit but did not increase the suggested retail price. The dealer cost went up for the XRAY M18, M18T and M18MT, but the retail price remained at $135. We did not have much choice but to raise our price since XRAY cut the dealer's margin.

It took me so long to change our prices in so many places that I haven't even looked at the increases for XRAY parts yet. Thankfuly, we don't have a parts inventory posted on our site yet.
