I was going to post this over a week ago, but it took me awhile to raise our prices after RC America asked us to. For those that don't know, we did so but offset the price increase by offering free shipping for all US orders. I'm getting off track.
When I first saw this the XRAY 808 had only been out about a month or month and a half ago (depending on whether you are in the US or Europe). RC hobbyists are already converting their XB808 nitro buggies to electric. Here are a few photos from RC-Monster forums courtesy of Backfire who was the first to post photos.

I know what all of you electric guys are thinking. What do I need to do this? Right now, I can find two options. RC-Monster offers a electric motor mount for $60, but it is currently out of stock. Another option is the Novak electronics brushless conversion kit which is $85.
My family is currently having a blast running our XRAY NT18MT monster trucks, but I have been getting an urge to go electric. This would certainly fix that and what a way to go electric.

Just as an update, I know that RC-Monster is currently working on a new motor mount specifically for the 808 that includes the feature of being able to remove the dif from the top for maintenance just like the stock setup. Keep checking back at the rc-monster.com, it should be available within the next coulpe weeks.
BTW... I'm loving my E-808. Awesome buggy.
